A program stretching from romanticism’s peak to the present: Ernest Chausson’s magnificent Concerto for Violin, Piano, and Strings meets new works for soprano and ensemble, Paul Brantley’s “…in all this shadow land…” written at the MacDowell Colony, and Margaret Bonds’ setting of Psalm 23.
